Manager, Product DesignProcurify is the AI-enhanced procurement and AP automation platform for the mid-market. We make it easy for organizations to take control of spend and save money. We’re looking for a talented and team-driven Manager, Product Design to join us on our journey.ABOUT THE ROLEProcurify is looking for a Manager, Product Design with a breadth of experience in strategy, research, UI/UX design, usability testing, design system and design operations. You will lead a team of talented designers in solving various user problems, by leveraging the double-diamond design playbook and various frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and personas. You are a person with a knack for unpacking customer needs, even the unarticulated one, to build products that people want to use. You will play a crucial role in shaping the design function and aligning it with the company’s product strategy.Everyone at Procurify is a team player. We’re seeking entrepreneurial people who are willing to challenge the status quo and contribute to larger strategic objectives.What you’ll be working on:Team Leadership & ManagementLead and Mentor: Lead and manage a team of product designers, ensuring their professional development. Provide regular feedback, set goals, and foster a culture of customer-centricity and continuous improvements.Hiring and Scaling: Identify gaps in the team and be involved in recruiting and onboarding new designers if needed. Manage the team’s growth to scale with the product needs.Resource Allocation: Ensure the right design resources are assigned to highest-priority projects, balancing workflows effectively across the team. Manage design projects, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project deliverables and milestones.KPI: eNPS, Career progression milestones achieved, Retention rate of design team members.Design Strategy & VisionDefine Design Vision: Define and communicate the product design vision, strategy, and goals to the design team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with both product strategy and business goals. Champion Design Thinking: Be a champion and showcase the value of UX across the organization through collaboration with product manager, engineers and various stakeholders, advocating for customer empathy and strong user experiences in decision making.Innovation: Leverage design trends and best practices to drive innovation and develop industry leading products that differentiate us from the competition.Cohesion: Ensure cohesion of product design across modules and platforms. Understand the end to end holistic customer experience on web and mobile balancing a vision of consistency while leveraging best-in-class for each platform.KPI: Timely delivery of vision work, number of feature improvements initiated by Design team, user journey improvements measured through user feedbackCollaboration & Process OptimizationPartner with Product and Engineering: Collaborate closely with the Head of Product and engineering leads to ensure alignment between design, product, and technical goals. Implement Design Processes: Establish and maintain the end-to-end product design process to ensure efficiency and quality output.Design Ops: Implement design operations (DesignOps) to streamline communication, tooling, and collaboration within the team and with cross-functional partners. Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to designers to improve design quality and ensure consistency.Design Systems: Oversee the maintenance and evolution of design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across product lines.KPI: Reduction in design-to-development cycle time, Design system adoptionBusiness Impact & Strategic ContributionsAlign Design with Business Metrics: Drive design efforts that contribute directly to business goals, whether that’s improving customer retention, enhancing onboarding, or driving adoption.Measure Design Impact: Define and track metrics that show the impact of design on user satisfaction, business KPIs, and overall product success.Customer & User Experience Advocacy: Ensure the design team’s work is aligned with providing an exceptional customer and user experience, potentially influencing the broader customer journey beyond just product interactions.KPI: CSAT of Key Personas, Measurable contribution to revenue growth or cost-saving initiativesWho we’re looking for :3 or more years of experience as a design manager or lead designer in a B2B SaaS organization having managed direct reports.Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in UX design and design leadership, including showcasing your knowledge of native iOS, Android, and web patterns in B2B applications.Experience developing, executing and maintaining a career matrix is a must.Experience working in a fast-paced work environment is a must.Experience leading a fully remote team.Track record of establishing a strong, collaborative design practice with a healthy feedback culture.Deep understanding of user research, usability testing, and creating designs that are both user-friendly and business-savvy.Ability to set a vision and roadmap for design and align with the company’s product and business goals. Ability to quickly gain a high-level understanding and be able to deep dive into low level details.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate the design team and beyond.Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, influencing product strategy and ensuring world-class product execution.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive designs.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in fast-paced, iterative design cycles.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.Knowledge of front-end development technologies and their impact on design is a plus.WHY PROCURIFY?We’re committed to helping mission-driven organizations spend smarter Procurify is a remote-first company with a big heart and a strong ambition to modernize the way organizations manage business spend.
