Job DescriptionJob Title: Account ManagerDepartment: Association ManagementReports To: VP of Association ManagementSummaryCommunications LABs Account Manager position is directly responsible for client accounts, acting as the companys direct interface on client projects and initiatives. The Account Manager provides day-to-day client management, assists on the development of communications and outreach strategy, developing communication strategies and programs, overseeing the development and production promotional materials. In addition, our Account Managers provide comprehensive event production. Depending upon client need, this may include, but is not limited to: pre-event planning, budget and vendor supervision, event marketing, guest management, venue logistics, run of show, stage management and scripting, as well as post-event analysis and reporting.Role Specific InformationAccount Managers within the Association Management Department are assigned to oversee a professional industry or non-profit association under comprehensive administrative management with Communications LAB. In addition to the summary above, Managers in this department are also responsible for interacting with the Board of Directors, committees, and association members. This role, with the help of internal and external support, protects the associations finances, prepares or facilitates the creation of financial reports, and ensures that annual tax and regulatory reports are filed. Occasional travel may be necessary to attend state and national conferences for certain associations under management.Management of others may be part of this role.TasksOversee and manage all client event plans, logistics, and timelines.Participate and lead, if needed, internal meetings, including regular client meetings, pre-event walk-throughs, on-site meetings, and post-event debriefs.Coordinate and manage event marketing deliverables to meet timeline milestones, including email marketing, social media, and other channels of distribution.
