Afternoon work. Weekdays, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.If you are looking for more than 4-6 hours a week, this job is NOT for you.Salary: $34.00 per class (1 hour class, plus minimal set-up and clean-up)Classes run in the elementary schools right after school dismisses.Classes run from September to May (possible summer camp opportunities)Role Details:Engage with students in after-school programs at local elementary schools.Follow the Young Rembrandts curriculum and methodology.Teach 60-minute drawing sessions to 6-12-year-olds.Create engaging in-school displays showcasing students' artwork weekly.Maintain accurate records and manage classroom behavior.Participation in weekly phone calls and photo reviews with franchisee.Attend monthly staff training meetings during evening hours after class.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:18 years or older.Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, volunteer work, etc.).Prefer applicants holding or working towards a college degree with 1-2 years experience working with children.Must value teamwork and be able to collaborate with other instructors/staff.Ability to teach, manage and inspire a group of up to 20 young artists.Must be available at least two days per week during after-school hours (2p-5p)Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
