SCHEDULE: 1st shift, 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform mechanical assembly work of varying complexities, both manual and automated. Read detailed blueprints, assembly sketches, or other input documents of similar complexity. Adjust, trim and fit parts to moderately close tolerances. Operate various manual assembly devices/ holding devices or testing devices. Accurately count parts and entered data into the ERP system. Sort product for conformance using magnification, gages, or other devices. May be required to operate machines, in this case, employee is required to perform preventive maintenance of machines. Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions. Utilize and abide by all applicable Quality Standards and OSHA requirements and safety procedures. Clock in and out of jobs timely and accurately. Perform all required checks and complete documentation accurately. Perform general housekeeping functions. Perform all other work assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to lift at least 40 pounds. High level of dexterity for handling very small parts. Excellent EyeHand Coordination. Body mobility. Excellent eyesight (with glasses). Good Communication Skills.EXPECTED PERFORMANCE: Above-average attendance. Works effectively in a team environment & respectful of others. Demonstrates a high degree of safety awareness & practice. Focus on job duties resulting in acceptable output. Maintain a high level of quality through attention to detail.
