Albany, NY based advertising agency is seeking a Sales Assistant. The successful candidate will work with a Senior Account Executive and support the companys sales goals by developing professional long-term relationships, discovering the needs of clients, and delivering innovative products with the highest level of quality, service, and integrity to exceed those needs. Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):Responsible for assisting with the sale and servicing of advertising accounts across multiple platforms including web, mobile, broadcast and printMust be able to build and maintain quality relations with existing assigned accountsAssist in managing a portfolio of accountsContact customers via telephone, email or in person by meeting as necessaryDirect project management activityPartner with account team to prepare for and execute the client project kickoff meetingDeal with all aspects of a campaignPrepare sales presentations, proposals, and contractsHelp to develop new creative campaigns and adhere to brand standardsAccountable for tracking and reporting of budgets throughout the lifecycle of each projectCompleting administrative work, as required Requirements:2-year degree and at least 1-3 years sales and/or assistant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably at an advertising agency or mediaGreat time management skillsOutstanding attention to detail a mustWorking knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)Ability to write reports and develop proposalsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
