Highlights:Competitive starting pay: $24,000 annual salary (for approximately 4 months of work), plus some benefits.Leadership role managing 3-5 employees.Overall responsibility for ensuring the smooth operation of Snowblaze Ski ShopMust be available to work during peak ski shop business periods, including the winter holidays and spring break. Job Description:As the assistant manager, you will play a vital role in the shop's daily operations while assisting the store manager. This position will be the primary face of the business and often represent the owner on all immediate management needs, reflecting the owner's values accordingly. You must be a local resident of the Angel Fire area during the winter ski months and be able to report to work daily, with the flexibility of two days off each week for leisure or skiing. Key Responsibilities:Welcome and assist customersEfficient management of ski and snowboard inventoryOversight of sellable equipment inventory (such as gloves and masks)Quality control of skis and equipmentEmployee management, including weekly payroll hours monitoring & assistance with schedulingProviding basic reports on shop status and finances to the owner Required Skills:Strong people skills and management acumenBasic ski or snowboard experienceUnderstanding of basic shop finance Desired & Attainable Skills:Proficiency with ski equipment tuning and maintenanceFamiliarity with shop administration Instructions For Applying:Please email your resume in PDF format to [email protected].
