Assistant Store Manager

We're seeking a skilled and motivated assistant retail manager. If you have a passion for cycling, retail and customer service, are a strong communicator, you are the ideal candidate we are looking for.Responsibilities:Actively work the sales floor, interacting with customers and employees to achieve the store's sales goalsStay up-to-date on the latest biking trends and technology in order to provide accurate and helpful recommendations to customersOrganize, implement, and validate staff trainingParticipate in the annual budgeting process, quarterly/monthly financial review meetings, and other meetings as necessarySales, merchandising, daily task list, Lightspeed POS accuracy and updates, analyticsMonitor store supplies and ordering or purchasing additional supplies as neededEnsure the store is reorganized and set for the next day, and secured at closing Qualifications:Bike shop or other bike industry experience, ideally in a managerial roleSales management, product sales, and/or customer service experience, ideally in a specialty retail environmentExcellent time management and organizational skillsExperience with POS system and inventory managementHands-on experience with Lightspeed Bicycle a plus Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooksA self-starter mentality that consistently delivers an outstanding, personalized retail experience Benefits:Skill-based pay Flexible 8-hour shiftsEmployee discounts on all productVacation leave
