Assistant Teacher

We are a unique Martial Arts After School Program. We run extended martial arts class 2:30-5:30 Monday-Friday. We are looking for a physical assistant instructor. Martial Arts Training a plus, but not necessary. You must be able to lead a group of kids in exercises and stretching. You will assist the Master Black Belts with the class. Other duties include helping with arrival, dismissal, attendance, snack, and end of day clean up.One Wednesday a month kids have early school dismissal hours would be 12-5:00.- Help ensuring that students are engaged, motivated, and challenged.- Create a positive and supportive learning environment, focusing on discipline, respect, and self-control.- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and organized training area.- Keep a clean and well-maintained training facility.Skills:- Experience working with children and students of all ages and skill levels.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Experience with classroom management and discipline.- Knowledge of first aid and CPR.- Experience with childcare is a plus.- Strong physical fitness and stamina a plus- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
