Associate Attorney

Position: Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation)Pay: Open, based on experienceDescription: G.J. Specifically, our core values (G.A.I.T.) are the Golden Rule, Accountability, Innovate, and Teamwork.We are currently seeking to employ an Associate Attorney to work alongside our legal team in our office located in Plano, Texas. This is a great opportunity for a candidate interested in the legal field and willing to learn about litigation. The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, hardworking and detail-oriented, highly organized, able to create solutions to legal problems and clearly communicate those ideas to the legal team and our client(s).We provide competitive salary, based on experience, and benefits that include medical, vision, and dental coverage. In addition, you will have the potential to bonus monthly based on your billable hours. This position requires a candidate to be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30am 5:00pm.Responsibilities:Draft legal documents.Provide legal analysis.Answer questions and give legal advice to client(s).Coordinate with other departments.Review cases files, identify key issues and facts, and prepare case summaries.Regularly handle court appearances, written discovery, motion practice, and depositionsQualifications:Strong written and oral communication skills are needed.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook is required.
