When government agencies are leveraging the industry’s best retail and consumer measurement data, they can adopt policies that are consistent with consumer behavior and most likely to succeed. This is why we’ve expanded into this new vertical, which will play a key role in our vision for the future. It’s exciting! In the role of Associate Director, Sales for Government, Public Sector and Non-Profit Accounts, you will be responsible for leading large sales engagements across our portfolio of NielsenIQ measurement solutions to our existing and new government vertical clients, and for expanding the business across this client sector. This role will pioneer the development of commercial strategies to renew and achieve new business, building meaningful client relationships, and ultimately closing deals. The successful candidate will join an expanding team of 30+ high performing and high energy associates. This fast-paced team is excited to have a new member join our group to build on the momentum we have established and deliver against lofty but attainable growth goals. Responsibilities include: Working with the International Director to drive sales of NielsenIQ solutions to key European markets & European Union Institutions Achieving sales and commercial objectives by clearly articulating NielsenIQ’s value proposition and use cases to decision makers specific to the product portfolio of responsibilityBuilding meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teamsRepresent the voice of the customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications and delivery teams Working collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners Achieving sales quota consistent with NielsenIQ margin goals and delivery expectationsGenerate sales leads and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of government clients consistent with NielsenIQ’s growth strategyAccurately forecasting sales pipeline, areas of growth, areas of risk and prioritize to close sales consistent with sales cycle normsAbility to weave client specific insights, industry material and thought leadership information into client conversations to build context and clarity to the outcomes our solutions can deliverOwn cross-functional relationships and be a subject matter expert for your accounts and partners in a fast-paced environment A little bit about you You have an entrepreneurial mindset and take satisfaction in achieving individual and team goals.
