About the role
The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web applications built with .NET and Blazor. They will ensure software quality through comprehensive test automation, working closely with developers and product managers to implement robust testing strategies. This role includes both UI automation and API testing, focusing on building scalable and maintainable test suites.
Key responsibilities
• Web Test Automation: Design and develop automated test frameworks using C# and Playwright for Blazor applications.• Mobile Test Automation: Create and maintain automated tests for Flutter applications using tools like Flutter Driver, integration_test package, or Appium.• Cross-platform Testing: Ensure consistent test coverage and quality across web and mobile platforms.• API Testing: Create automated API tests using tools like RestSharp/Postman, ensuring robust integration testing for both web and mobile applications. • Framework Architecture: Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks that support both UI and API testing.• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality gates are maintained.• Mobile Device Testing: Manage and execute tests across different mobile devices and OS versions.• Test Planning: Work with team members to develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases.• Performance Testing: Design and execute performance tests using tools like K6.• Bug Tracking: Identify, report, and track bugs through resolution, maintaining detailed documentation.• Test Data Management: Design and implement test data strategies and maintenance procedures.• Quality Metrics: Track and report on quality metrics, test coverage, and automation effectivenessSkills and experience• Proficient in C# and Flutter testing frameworks• Mobile Testing: Experience with mobile automation tools (Appium, Flutter Driver)• Web UI Automation: Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools• API Testing: Knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks• CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)• Version Control: Proficiency in Git• Cross-platform Testing: Experience testing across web and mobile platformsDesirable Skills:• Mobile Device Farms: Experience with cloud device testing platforms• Performance Testing: Knowledge of mobile and web performance testing tools• Security Testing: Basic understanding of mobile/web app security testing• Accessibility Testing: Knowledge of mobile and web accessibility standards
