They are more than just employees; they are passionate coffee enthusiasts, dedicated to creating a memorable experience for every customer who walks through our doors.- We are open 6:30am - 5pm and coverage is 6am - 6:00pm (average, depending on closing responsibilities)- Shifts range from 5-7 hours long.- We are looking for experienced individuals with 1+ years experience behind the bar using a commercial manual espresso machine and who can efficiently work the bar alone during slower afternoon shifts as well as able to work along side other baristas during busier shifts.- Part time (20 hours to start) available with room to increase.- Must be available to work some afternoon shifts and a weekend shift.Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care.- Communicate menu to customers when needed.- Remain calm and efficient during rushes.- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction with every interaction.- Being a team to deliver exceptional service and are always willing to lend a helping hand to their colleagues.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, including equipment, workstations, kitchen and dining areas.- Operate cash register and process transactions efficiently.- Exhibits a capacity to learn from errors and adeptly solve problems.- Able to work opening or closing shifts, independently or with another barista.- Collaborate with team members to uphold quality standards and uphold the reputation of our shop.Requirements:- Previous experience as a barista using a commercial manual espresso machine.- Proficient at steaming milk for various espresso drinks and create latte art.- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso equipment, and beverage recipes is a plus.- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.- Flexibility to work mid-shift, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Perks:- $24/hour- Discounts on food, beverages, and merchandise.- Fun and supportive work environment with a passionate team.How to apply:If you're ready to bring your enthusiasm and expertise to our team, we'd love to hear from you!
