Identifying accounts with overdue payments and keeping records of the amount owed and the length of the delinquency.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:Increase the collection of outstanding payments within our personal finance department, as an individual contributor in the collections processIdentify accounts with overdue payments and find solutions to help bring their loan to a current statusMaintain daily, weekly and monthly collection and metric goalsOutbound/Inbound calls with clients to resolve debts owedAll in compliance with Goodleap’s collections policies and procedures Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections; knowledgeable in sales, negotiation and persuasion toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrior telemarketing experience with financial products preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsSelf-motivated and extremely goal-orientedTeam PlayerProfessional demeanorBilingual English/Spanish requiredCompensation: $18.00 / hr. +bonusAdditional Information Regarding Job Duties and Job Descriptions:Job duties include additional responsibilities as assigned by one's supervisor or other managers related to the position/department.
