The Building Department Expediter will be responsible for managing and expediting permit submissions, coordinating with city officials, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations in New York City.RequirementsPrevious experience in construction, construction consulting, engineering related fieldFamiliarity with Excel, DOB NOW, MS WordBachelor's DegreeResponsibilitiesKnowledge of building codes and regulationsExperience in permit expediting and project managementStrong organizational and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to multitaskProficiency in MS Office and project management softwareExperience in the construction or real estate industry is a plusNotary is a major plus
