Reporting to the Head Butler, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional, highly personalised guest experience while taking ownership of the guest journey from arrival to departure. This role is suited to a confident and discreet hospitality professional with strong service expertise, excellent guest relations skills, and the ability to lead by example, supporting junior members of the Butler team while consistently upholding the highest luxury service standards. Duties & Responsibilities Take full ownership of the guests’ journey, anticipating needs and delivering personalised service that exceeds expectations. Conduct thorough room inspections prior to guest arrivals, ensuring readiness in line with our standards. Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner in line with operational standards. Manage guest arrivals and departures, including offering welcome refreshments, handling luggage, and unpacking luggage upon request. Conduct hotel tours and provide detailed room orientations, clearly explaining facilities, services, and in - room features. Respond promptly, professionally, and effectively to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints, ensuring appropriate follow - up and resolution. Prepare and oversee room arrangements and amenities for arrivals, ensuring in - house guest rooms are serviced during the morning and turn - down shifts in coordination with Housekeeping. Monitor minibar setup and ensure items are replenished, refreshed, and presented according to established standards. Manage inventory levels within the Butler operation, reporting shortages, expiry dates, and quality concerns to the Head Butler or Butler Supervisor. Deliver in - room dining services, including setup and service of meals and beverages, and manage private in - suite events such as lunches, dinners, and canapé receptions. Prepare and organise all equipment and logistics required for guest excursions and off - property activities. Maintain in - depth knowledge of all hotel dining outlets, menus, and service offerings. Maintain accurate awareness of guest food preferences, dietary requirements, and allergies, ensuring these are communicated appropriately. Communicate clearly with guests regarding daily schedules, preferred service times, and room servicing arrangements. Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure seamless operations and a consistent, high - quality guest experience. Support, guide, and mentor junior team members, contributing to skills development and service consistency. Uphold strict standards of guest confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Carries out other job - related duties as assigned in support of hotel operations. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably within a luxury or high - end establishment. A valid Food Handling Certificate is considered an asset. Excellent verbal communication skills in the English language. Knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset. Strong guest - service orientation, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalised attention.
