Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized support tailored to their unique needs.Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Home Respite Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to a client within their home, allowing their primary caregivers some much-needed respite. This role will be worked in tandem with the individual's step-mother who also lives in the home. This individual requires total care and is behavioral.Responsibilities:- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.- Provide feeding assistance, ensuring that clients receive their meals in a respectful and dignified manner.- Assist with toileting and maintain client cleanliness and comfort.- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.- Administer medications as prescribed and follow care plans.- Monitor and record clients' conditions and any changes in their health.- Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients homes.-Record progress notes for each shiftRequirements:- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred, but not required.- Ability to handle sensitive situations with care and empathy.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional demeanor.- Must be comfortable with personal care tasks including feeding and toileting.-Must have obtained a high school diploma (GED or Certified Transcripts are also acceptable)-Must have a valid Driver's License-Must undergo a drug test and fingerprinting before workingWhat We Offer:- Paid training to ensure you are fully prepared for the role.- Competitive pay rates.- Flexible scheduling to fit your availability (on an as-needed basis; changes in schedule must be approved by the individual's parents)- Supportive and friendly work environment.Job Type: Part-timePay: $26.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 35 per weekBenefits:401(k)Flexible schedulePaid orientationPaid sick timePaid time offPaid training Schedule:Day shiftEvening shiftMorning shift Education:High school or equivalent (Required) Experience:working with individuals with disabilities: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
