Carpenter

Empire Builders Group is seeking full-time Carpenters/Carpenter Helpers/ Laborers. Main duties include general carpentry and overall site work under the guidance of a Senior Field Supervisor. Previous experience preferred.Must meet the following qualifications: Must be able to pass a Drug Test Have a valid driver's license. Be able to work a 40-hour week. Be able to perform routine and repetitive tasks, work easily and skillfully with hands, climb and maintain balance on scaffolds or ladders. Reach for, handle, and grasp hand tools; bend, crouch, and work in small places; and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted. Have a strong technical and problem-solving aptitude.Compensation $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Training provided.Responsibilities and Duties:Installation of doors, hardware, trim and miscellaneous carpentry; housekeeping.Complete all tasks adhering to applicable Florida Building Codes and standards.Follow complex directions with attention to detail and know how to use job related hand tools.Work from aerial lift and elevated platforms.Pick up parts from supply houses as needed.Clean and organize equipment and jobsite to maintain a safe work environment.Promote and adhere to all recognized safety practices and standards.Schedule:8-hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation: High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience: OpenConstruction: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Walton / Okaloosa Counties
