Child Care Attendant

Our childcare center is in search of qualified workers to help monitor and lead activities throughout the morning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Checks Children in and outOrganizing and participating in recreational activitiesObserving and monitoring play and other activitiesMaintain a safe play environment.Serving meals and snacksLead the children in the cleanup of trays, cups and the eating area after every mealInstructing children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habitsAccompanying children to and from restrooms; playgroundSanitizing toys and play equipment; organizing/storing toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas, and performing general housekeeping dutiesEncouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.Supervise and lead children in all activities, including play time, reading hour, art projects, and snack/meals.Teach the parents and children you work with our centers rules regarding safety and cooperation to help foster a safer and more structured environment as well as bolster member confidence. QUALIFICATIONSJob Skills & QualificationsRequired:Must be able to lift 3040 lbs.Previous experience in child or daycareCPR certificationDrivers licenseSalary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourSchedule: 4-5 hour shift Morning shift Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
