Child Care Director

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong background in early childhood education.Duties include but are not limited to:- Develop and implement educational programs that align with state regulations and promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children.- Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, health, safety, and sanitation standards.- Collaborate with parents to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for children.- Manage the day-to-day operations of the childcare center, including budgeting, staffing, and scheduling.Requirements- Have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate;- Have a combination of education and experience equivalent to 2 years in the areas of early childhood management or early childhood education, child development, nursing or other related field; or- shall have received a professional credential from an organization recognized by the department;- Directors shall meet all training requirements as outlined in Chapter 4 per DCFS- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.- Strong leadership and communication skills.- Knowledge of state regulations governing childcare facilities.- Experience in education administration is a plus.Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 30 40 per weekBenefits: Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Torrington, WY 82240 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Torrington, WY 82240: Relocate before starting work (Required)
