We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and educational programs.- Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development.- Ensure adherence to licensing regulations and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community to promote the preschools mission and values.- Manage budget and financial aspects of the preschool, including tuition collection and resource allocation.- Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and provide constructive feedback.- Organize and oversee school events and activities to engage families and the community.**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.- Valid certification in early childhood education.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.- Valid credentials in early childhood education.- Familiarity with the EXCEL program.- Fluent in English.- Strong management skills.- Experience working with families in the CCS and WPA programs.**Preferred Skills:**- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.- Familiarity with state licensing requirements for preschools in Maryland.- Leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.**Benefits:**- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.- 401(k) plan.- Health insurance.- One week of paid vacation annually.- Three sick days annually with salary.- Opportunities for professional development and continued education.
