Our mission was clear: To provide an integrated approach to adults, male and female, struggling with addition and mental health issues.Safety-Net Therapeutics' continues to use an integrated and client-centered approach to client-care by engaging clients through evidenced-based practices such as:Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Motivational Interviewing Techniques (MIT)Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)Medical Assisted Therapy (MAT)Behavioral CounselingAddiction CounselingMental Health Counseling, and Group Therapy.Since October 2019, Safety-Net Therapeutics has grown and is also supporting clients, on their individual recovery journeys, in the following location: Centerville, Huber Heights, and Dayton. In addition to working with Adults, Safety-Net began to engage in Preventative Services with our youth and adolescents in the community in May 2024.We believe this multi-dimensional approach will help our clients understand the importance of building and applying a skills set to deal with their continued lifes challenges without the use of drugs or self-destructive behavior.QualificationsDoctorate in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institutionLicensed or eligible for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in OhioExperience with psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluationsStrong therapeutic skills and ability to work with diverse populationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to ethical practice and professional developmentExperienced in caring for adults, and/or children and adolescent populationsActive CPR and First AidUnrestricted DEA licenseNPIMedicaid ID (preferred)Responsibilities/DutiesAs a Clinical Psychologist at SNT, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations and providing therapy to patients who may have substance use addiction, or adults, youth or adolescents who have a mental health needYou will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, evidence-based care that improves the mental health and well-being of our clientsConduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluationsProvide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approachesDevelop and implement tailored treatment plans based on clients' needsCollaborate with a team of professionals to ensure integrated careMaintain accurate and confidential client recordsProvide crisis intervention when necessaryStay updated on the latest developments in psychology and apply best practicesJob Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $62.00 - $70.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 10 per weekMedical Specialty: Addiction Medicine Schedule: Choose your own hoursOn call License/Certification: NPI (Preferred)unrestricted DEA (Preferred)
