The role involves coordinating various aspects of the project, including personnel, resources, materials, schedules, and budgets, to ensure successful completion.Job Title: Project ManagerResponsibilitiesProject PlanningDevelop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.Collaborate with executives and leaders to define project requirements and objectives.Create and maintain project documentation.Resource ManagementAllocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Manage and optimize project budgets.Team LeadershipLead and motivate project teams, including construction crews, subcontractors, and support staff.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately.Hold accountability of the team for their tasks / responsibilitiesRisk ManagementIdentify potential risks and challenges to the project.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.Proactively address issues that may impact project progress.Quality AssuranceEnsure that work meets established quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations, and specifications and the Plans.Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks.CommunicationMaintain open and transparent communication with the team, including clients, team members, executives, and leadership.Provide regular progress updates and reports.Address and resolve concerns or issues promptly.Schedule ManagementDevelop and manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.Health and SafetyImplement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.Comply with all relevant safety regulations and standards.Client RelationsBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients.Address client concerns and inquiries in a professional manner.Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.Generate comprehensive project reports for executives and leadership.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction 3-5 years Min.Strong understanding of construction processes, technical construction aspects and codes.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in project management software.
