The Project Manager is responsible for all field operations, including the coordination of subcontractor's work. Responsible for all field activities associated with the project, including ultimate responsibility for implementing the safety program for the job site. Shares responsibility with the project manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to the company policies and procedures. Manages and mentors field personnel involved with existing construction.Responsibilities:Manage a team of field workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocationCollaborate with clients, Senior Project Manager, other construction managers to determine budget and timelineCoordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers through pthe urchasing managerConduct weekly coordination & scheduling meetings with project management team to create schedules for workers and subcontractorsHire additional subcontractors and assign work accordinglyMaintain a daily log for the job sites operations, reporting to management as necessaryMake changes in the operation as required to best meet construction deadlinesImplement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficientEnforce safety compliance per company standards & OSHA requirementSkill qualifications:5+ years of management or supervisory experienceExtensive Construction KnowledgeAbility to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documentsGood working knowledge of computer programsUnderstanding of proper safety procedures and recognition of hazardous situationsExcellent pproblem-solvingand communication skillsAbility to set priorities, forecast upcoming work, and appropriately allocate adequate resourcesPositive attitude and willingness to continue learningAbility to be independent while meeting deadlinesClean & valid driver's licenseJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits: 401(k)Health insurancePaid time off Schedule: 10 hour shiftDay shiftWeekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Management: 5 years (Required) Language: Bilingual English & Spanish (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)OSHA 30 (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 80% (Required) Work Location: Between Queens Office & On the road
