We are seeking an upbeat person to join our team! We serve a full food menu- sandwiches, burgers, crepes, salads and more.This is a Part Time short order cook position, with opportunity for a blended role for FOH team member or mgmt team.MUST HAVE:Minimum 1 year experience in cookingMUST HAVE SAFE SERVE CERTIFICATIONCook Responsibilities Include:Follow company procedures and recipe guidelines to insure consistencyAbility to cook a variety of different dishes at the same time on a flattopCreate and present picture worthy 'foodie' type foodBe mindful of Ticket times without compromising integrity of food outputMust be able to handle rushesAssist FOH when needed (training will be provided)Additional duties include : disposing of frying oil, cleaning hood filters, restocking and managing supplies, FIFO, dating and rotating perishables kept in refrigeration.Prep work:Food Prep based on store volumePortion food per portion control guidelineEXCEPTIONAL SANITARY HABITS ARE REQUIRED.MUST BE CLEAN. Must follow all cleaning protocols and procedures.Changing Gloves, cleaning grill, proper sanitizing is paramount.THIS IS A ONE MAN SHOWLarry's Ice Cream & Cafe is a sister company of Larrys Ice Cream which has been in Coral Springs for nearly 40 years.Days and hours are flexible.
