Job DescriptionOur cooks prepare meals for our residents and maintain a clean kitchen. You will use your prior experience combined with your knowledge of safe cooking procedures and methods to prepare delicious meals based on our approved dietary menus.Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:Providing hands-on assistance with the dietary needs of the residents and fulfilling special meal requests when neededPreparing meals from the menu plan and assisting with the service of the mealsMaintaining cleanliness of production and service areasInspecting work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet all applicable food service standards and regulationsFollowing safe work procedures to include injury prevention, food safety, and infection control.Properly labeling and dating all food in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storageAdhering to company policies, procedures and guidelinesJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceShift:Evening shiftMorning shiftExperience:Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:Cape Coral, FL 33904: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
