Job Title: Corporate Counsel, Procurement and Alliances
Location: Remote - Poland

As a key part of our rapidly growing organization, we are looking for Corporate Counsel - Procurement and Alliances to manage contracts for procurement and partnerships. Specifically, we are seeking a results-oriented, motivated and strategic attorney who is dedicated towards finding solutions which align and support the growth and operations of the company.
To that end, Corporate Counsel - Procurement and Alliances will be tasked with the following:

Review, draft, provide guidance on, and negotiate commercial procurement contracts of all types, including large scale enterprise-wide SaaS agreements with subprocessors.
Review, draft, provide guidance on, and negotiate contracts with Salesloft partners, including referral, integration, resale, and other types of partnerships and alliances, as applicable.
Work directly with the Procurement Manager to improve the procurement process and implement controls which align with the Company’s changing needs.
Partner with internal business clients to develop and execute action plans in order to resolve the issues presented in contract negotiations, as necessary.
Develop strong relationships with internal contacts, including, but not limited to: Security, Risk Management, Finance, People Operations, Sales, Technology, and other appropriate departments to ensure high service level and anticipate special needs.
Support other projects and initiatives, as requested.

THE SKILL SET:

A university degree in Law (LLM preferred but not required)
Fluency in English (both oral and written)
Strong knowledge of global commercial and contractual laws.
Strong knowledge of GDPR and other European and global security and privacy laws, and data security and privacy best practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
At least three (3) years experience negotiating contracts (particularly for software / SaaS) in English as part of an in-house legal department or a law firm strongly preferred.
Documented history of ability to balance the needs of multiple initiatives and competing demands.
Demonstrate understanding of processes related to review, execution and storage of contracts as well as general contracting best practices.
Collaborative work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented/open environment.
Experience with Polish employment laws and regulations is a plus, but is not required.
Experience with partnership contracts such as referral agreements, technology integration agreements, and reseller agreements is a plus but not required.


WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique.
Learn and understand the Salesloft legal team’s position on various topics relevant to contracts and business operations.
Negotiate and draft procurement contracts for goods, events, software / SaaS, and services.
Begin 1:1’s with your manager, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and familiarize yourself with the legal teams processes and systems.
Meet key partners in Revenue, Information Security, Finance and Corporate Services, Technology, Product, Marketing, etc., as they will be key relationships for you throughout your career here at Salesloft.


WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

Work directly with the Procurement Manager to improve the procurement process.
Create and/or update contract templates for procurement.
Negotiate and draft partnership contracts.


WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

Work directly with the Alliances Team to improve the process of onboarding partners (from identification to contract execution and administration).
Create and/or update the Alliances Team’s contract templates.


WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

Be considered a subject matter expert in what it takes to get procurement transactions done at Salesloft.
Exercise your legal and professional judgment to help expand and scale the legal function at Salesloft, including offering support on various company and legal team initiatives.
