Delivery driver

Job DescriptionPacific Pickle Works is looking for a hard-working person with a great attitude to do regional deliveries (LA, SB, SLO) 1.5 to 2 days per week. This position is part time hourly. See the following details:Position Title: Delivery DriverReports to: Sales and Service Manager - Santa BarbaraHours: Varies and somewhat flexible: Typically Thurs, 7:30am - 4:00pm, Fri 8:00am - 12:00pm (occasional need for overtime depending on workload)Additional hours potentially available packing Amazon mail order boxesWage: Hourly (DOE) Required skillsMUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!Great attitude - even in stressful times.Knows how to hustle - must be able to move and get things done.Ability to foster positive working relationships and collaborate with management teamAbility to manage positive relationships with wholesale customers as well as other vendor suppliersAbility to make good judgements on how to handle situations in the absence of direct supervisionAbility to lift and heavy boxes, 5 gallon (50 lb) buckets. THIS IS IMPORTANT AND FREQUENT.Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, clear understanding and respect of state traffic laws and safety codes. This is a MUST - we have to run a check on your driver's license, of it is not clean, do not apply.Experience driving a cargo delivery van (Sprinter or similar) a plus.Must be lightly computer savvy as working with basic websites is essentialJob responsibilitiesProcess and prepare wholesale customer orders - taking pride in the quality of presentation of productDrive and make delivery stops for up to 8 hours in one delivery day, possibility of overtimeMake deliveries to local stores on a regular route between Los Angeles and Paso Robles, on a weekly or biweekly basisFoster or maintain successful, positive relationships with local vendors, grocery accounts and customersMonitor all mail orders and wholesale orders from our online systems, ensuring that they are all fulfilled in a timely mannerMaintain delivery vehicle, keep clean inside and out at all timesHave funHow to ApplyPlease send email to [email protected] with an attached resume and brief cover letter.
