You will be responsible for conceptualising and creating beautiful, accessible, cutting edge websites and digital applications for world-leading brands in the arts, culture, and entertainment space. You will be working creating wireframes, prototypes and user interface design right the way through to developing and pitching creative concepts and complete design systems. You must have an innate understanding and appreciation of design, typography, color theory, system based design and an ability to think innovatively.What You’ll Do Design for technical feasibility and user experience. Work closely with the client, Designers and Developers. Create and iterate creative concepts. Pitch your designs both internally and to clients. Design animations and interactions. Wireframe and prototype websites and web applications. Create and manage style guidelines and design systems. Collaborate with designers and Frontend developers to create the most compelling and successful products possible. RequirementsEssentialsThe successful candidate is likely to have most of the following: At least 3+ years Digital agency or relevant in-house experience as a Digital Designer or similar role. A strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for amazing design, conceptual thinking and skills in visual communication. Experience working with and building modular design systems. An understanding of accessibility standards and best practices. A strong understanding of layout, typography and hierarchy The ability to both work autonomously and as part of a team. An ability to self-motivate and work remotely. Well-developed communication skills including an ability to articulate and present thoughts and ideas. A solid working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, and Adobe XD. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Excellent analysis and trouble-shooting skills. Great attention to detail. Great organisational skills. Desirable SkillsThe successful candidate is likely to have at least one of the following: Experience working in an agency environment. Experience working with arts, cultural, or entertainment brands. Experience presenting and communicating work to clients. Bonus skills: Some experience working with HTML CSS. Some experience with video editing and/or animation. Some experience with graphic design and/or illustration. We are a remote company and set salaries based on a national benchmark. If you work from home, you should be able to create a suitable working environment, with a quiet space to work and join video meetings, and a reliable internet connection.Our remote model also means we set salaries according to a national rate. We will agree a base rate for the job, based on experience, and reflective of the salary range provided in the job description. Employees who are hired in specific cities are also eligible for market adjustments, for the time that they live within the city limits.
