The RoleWe are searching for a Director of Earned & Owned Strategy to work on enterprise SEO, Content Marketing, Influencer, Affiliate Marketing, and Email & Lifecycle Marketing clients with complex core business objectives. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $105,000 - $130,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Please safeguard yourself against possible scams and contact us if you encounter any suspicious activity.#LI-JJ#LI-RemoteYou Will BeServing as executive leadership on key accounts and be accountable for client success Developing custom earned strategy plans that combine tactics from SEO, Content Marketing, Content Development, Email Marketing, Influencer Marketing and Affiliate Marketing and provide strategic direction to Channel ManagersOwning Earned & Owned Media projections for prospective and existing clients and consult on unique reporting solutionsEstablishing campaign goals upon client onboardingCollaborating directly with the Sales team to create opportunities for new business growth and pitch custom campaigns to prospective clientsIdeating Earned Cross-Channel Co-activations that strategically combine tactics from Earned channelsCollaborating with Paid Media Strategy & relevant Paid Media Channels for strategic alignment and tactical co-activations Partnering with Channel teams to ensure all digital channels are prioritizing goal-oriented tactics, proactively measuring return on investment/effort and pivoting when neededLeading campaign kick offs and create/review/approve campaign briefs prior to kick-offAuditing existing digital campaigns within a client’s owned channelsGrowing the total Wpromote Earned & Owned Media investment for key accountsCollaborating with Product & Engineering to develop critical applications and automations to serve both internal and external processesReporting to Senior Director of Earned & Owned Strategy and other upper executives on key client service pillars: same-store growth, retention, new business and partnershipsYou Must HaveMinimum of 5 years of experience in at least two of the Earned & Owned Media channels (SEO, Content Marketing, Content Development, Email Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Influencer Marketing)Experience managing a fully-integrated digital campaign utilizing cross-channel insightsBachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical experienceStrong boardroom presence and ability to communicate with C-suite executives on the client-side to thoughtfully explain strategy, purpose and resultsDemonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns that drive high ROIStrong understanding of how web experiences (e.g., desktop sites, mobile sites, mobile apps) fit into holistic marketing strategiesStrong analytical mindset with experience in advanced measurement and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Big Query, etcProficiency in financial modeling, investment plans and forecasting through decision-making and associated tools including Excel and Google SpreadsheetsA track record of leading successful new business pitches that demonstrate unique strategy opportunities and ultimately generate growthThe ability to use consumer insights data, customer journey maps, organic performance, and key trends to inform the development of strategies and plansSolid time and project management skills, with the ability to identify, prioritize, and respond to situations rapidlyExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; including strong presentation skillsWpromote is committed to bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives, providing employees with a safe and welcoming environment free of discrimination and harassment.
