Our company is looking for a skilled and passionate Mitigation Technician to join our team and help us restore damaged properties to their former glory.We are looking for a mitigation technician who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help mitigate damage caused by all kinds of disasters. You will be the first on the scene, using your expertise to assess the damage and come up with a plan of action.A mitigation technician shares our values of quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Our ideal candidate will excel in a hands-on role where they can use their technical skills to assess and demo damage caused by water, fire, or mold. You'll work closely with our clients to determine the best solutions and ensure that their homes or businesses are restored to their pre-damage condition.As a Mitigation Technician you pay close attention to detail, have a natural flair for problem-solving, and pride yourself on delivering high-quality work. You approach every task with a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed our clients' expectations.Essential Responsibilities/Tasks:Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrityPerform any and all directives from Mitigation ManagerRespond to emergency lossesPerform Emergency Water Extraction and Drying Services (including water extraction, demolition, moisture testing, developing drying plans, and providing project documentation)Assist in Emergency Fire/Smoke Services (to include demolition, cleaning, deodorization, inventorying, pack outs, board-ups, and securing the structure)Assist in Mold Remediation (including demolition and cleaning)Assist in preparation and completion of Carpet/Upholstery CleaningParticipate and fulfill on-call rotation as needed, typically one weekend per month and one weeknight per week (responding to after hour emergencies)Perform basic vehicle, equipment, and building maintenanceAble to safely climb a ladderAble to lift at least 75 poundsAble to work in confined spacesAble to work around a variety of chemicals without any adverse reaction or sensitivityPerformance Standards:Documentation of all work processes and policiesWork performance in accordance with the laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which Paul Davis Restoration operatesAll work will be performed according to company policies, and up to Paul Davis Restoration standardsAll work will be performed in accordance with OSHA safety regulations pertaining to this workCustomers will be treated in a courteous and professional manner. All communication with customers will be informative and courteousEmployees ALWAYS 'displaying our brand with pride', by wearing furnished company uniform and ensuring uniforms are kept in good conditionEmployees will behave in a professional and mature manner when representing this company.
