Position Overview:As a Prep Cook/Dishwasher at Uncle Cheef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen team, ensuring that our food preparation is efficient and that our kitchen and dining areas are clean and orderly. This role involves working during our peak hours on Thursday-Saturday nights and Sunday brunch, with potential additional hours for maintaining the cleanliness of our dining room.Key Responsibilities:Prep Cook Duties:Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.Ensure all prep work is completed in a timely manner to meet service needs.Maintain clean and organized prep stations and storage areas.Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.Dishwasher Duties:Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools.Ensure all kitchenware is sanitized and in good condition.Assist with basic kitchen maintenance and cleanliness tasks.Remove trash and clean work areas regularly.Additional Responsibilities:Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the dining room during off-peak hours.Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed, including stocking supplies and organizing inventory.Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.Qualifications:Previous experience as a prep cook or dishwasher in a busy kitchen environment is preferred but not required.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.Flexible schedule with availability on Thursday-Saturday nights and Sunday brunch.Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.About Us:Uncle Cheef is not just a music venue; its a community hub where great food, live music, and an energetic atmosphere come together.
