Electronics Product Tester

Must have the ability to occasionally perform physically demanding work (lift 50-70lbs). Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to take guidance and correction. Be self-motivated, reliable, and responsible. Must be a team player and have a positive attitude. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required. Forklift Certified is a plus, but not required. Must be able to pass a background check (not all charges disqualify). Must be able to pass a drug test (not all substances disqualify).Responsibilities/Job Duties:The electronic products tester is responsible for appraising and testing all peripheral equipment that is procured from our clients all over central Florida. Orlando Recycles is a B2B IT asset disposition firm that services any and every possible type of business. Therefore, the variety of electronics that we process is quite large. If you are sentimental to older gaming systems, have ever built your own desktop PC, or have ever taken apart your laptop to see how it works then this job is for you. Some of the common things we see will come in large quantities and can be a bit repetitive, but often the items being tested change so frequently that there is always something new and refreshing to work on. This is a full-time on-site role for an Electronics Product Tester in Winter Park, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for appraising, testing and organizing a wide variety of consumer, scientific, networking, and telecom electronics, as well as, assisting with in-house IT and other tasks as needed. Success in this position will be assessed by the flow of products, the organization and clearing of warehouse space, and the amount of items returned due to an issue not previously recognized.This role is highly specialized. We are looking for a very specific type of person with a variety of skills surrounding the majority of technology, IT, networking, consumer electronics, etc...Work Schedule:Hours are Specific/40 Hours/Day ShiftSalary:$17-$20/hour starting, with performance based raises after probationary periods (30 days, 90 days, 1 year)Benefits: PTO after 1-year, 50% Health Insurance Premium Reimbursement after 1-year, Bonuses
