Events Coordinator

We are looking for an Event Coordinator to work in our corporate headquarters in Morris County, New Jersey.Responsibilities and Duties:Coordinate all activities related to the daily operations of planning special events including (but not limited to) trade shows, casino player loyalty events, client functions, and internal Company eventsFollow and comply with all policies, procedures, and business operationsCoordinate the planning, programming, scheduling, travel arrangements, set- up, execution, and breakdown of eventsResearch and negotiate contracts for booth design and rentalResearch and negotiate contracts for outside printingResearch and negotiate contracts for external event staffing agenciesWork as a direct liaison between client and various internal departments such as Sales, Merchandising, Purchasing, Warehouse, and OperationsDisplay reliable leadershipPrioritize and delegate multiple tasks onsite to maximize time managementHEAVY Travel, especially during 4th quarter, is REQUIREDQualifications and Skills:Minimum 2 years experience in planning/attending events and trade showsAbility to work in a very fast paced environment, multitask, and think outside the boxStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust maintain accurate records and reportsExperience working with strict budgets is a plusKnowledge of Microsoft SuiteKnowledge of Photoshop and Visio is a plusStrong organization skillsBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth insurance401(k) plan with an employer matchLife insurance and long-term disability insurancePaid time offGenerous employee purchase and incentive programsRymax (http://www.rymaxinc.com) understands the value of employee appreciation and customer loyalty.
