You are proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with the companys founders and be responsible for managing Jacobis Emeryville office. This will include procurement, problem-solving, mechanical aptitude, managing the lab area with multiple industrial robots, and more. This is a 25-30 hours per-week, part-time position with flexible working hours and potential for advancement, which may evolve into a full-time opportunity based on performance and business growth.</p><p>Compensation for this role is up to $25/hour. Students are encouraged to apply. </p><ul><li>Fluent proficiency in English</li><li>Extremely comfortable working with workshop power tools including drill press, band saw, circular saw, drills and more. </li><li>Strong mechanical design and fabrication experience required</li><li>Proficient in metal fabrication, including sheet metal and aluminum work</li><li>Experience with CAD softwares (Solidworks, AutoCAD) is a plus</li><li>Possession of a valid driver's license required</li><li>Strong problem-solving ability with a practical and solution-oriented mindset</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities</li></ul>
