Field Technician

Rangeline Tapping Services is seeking a highly motivated Field Technicians to provide effective maintenance and operation for the water and wastewater utilities.Field Technicians must be able to travel out of town and have a clean driving record.We are proud to offer a great comprehensive benefits package, a fun, casual team-oriented environment, and training from experienced construction crew leaders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operation and maintenance on all tapping and line stopping equipment.Review and examine line and tap setup to ensure a new tap can be performed safely.Maintains all line stop/hot tap equipment and demonstrates the ability rebuild all equipment.Complies with all government rules and regulations, and company policies and procedures.Provides services in the most efficient manner possible while complying with cost estimates.Communicates and interacts with management, engineers, and co-workers.Operates industry related tools and equipment including forklift.Assist in the selection of appropriate hot tap and line stop fittings for field installations.Assist in Troubleshooting equipment and installation issues.Required Skills/AbilitiesKnowledge of and the ability to use basic hand tools, materials, and equipment commonly used in the performance of job function.Knowledge of using pumps, compressors, and other appropriate equipmentAbility to follow oral and written instructions and be able to write legible and descriptive reports on duties performed.Ability to work on emergency repairs and services unsupervised or in teams of various sizes.Qualifications and Education RequirementsAbility to work outdoors in various and/or extreme weather conditions.Must have a valid drivers license clear of multiple and/or major violations.High school diploma or equivalent.Completion of OSHA 30 within 90 days of hire.Completion of OSHA 10 within first week of hire.Completion of Confined Space Training within one week of hire.2 years of relevant work experience (preferred)
