Proceso de selección continuo.FuncionesWe are looking for a Food Runner who is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally. They act as a link between the kitchen and the dining area, helping ensure smooth restaurant operations and an excellent guest experience. • Responsible for quick and accurate delivery of orders from the kitchen to Guests. • Responsible to obtain and maintain a working knowledge of all food menus. • Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff. • Uphold our food health safety and sanitation principles and ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards. • Assuring the guests have everything they need on the tables after delivery of food. • Deliver food orders to a variety of guests in a timely manner. • Keep kitchen station, all utensils, steak knives, trays and other equipment’s polished and stocked. • Communicate effectively and courteously with guests, and co-workers. • Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests. • Inform restaurant staff about guests feedback or requests. • Assist guests with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and make recommendations. • Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guests dining experience. • Sets up the front line with the equipment, plate ware, and smallwares needed to effectively serve all food products. • Appropriately coordinating activities between the kitchen and guests. • Keeps station restocked throughout the shift and ensure all large and small trays, tray stands to be ready for service. • Assists the server as needed to optimize the guest’s dining experience. • Accomplishes all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift. • Complete all closing duties at the end of each shift and assists Chef and other kitchen personnel in accomplishing closing duties and kitchen cleanliness. • Complete all responsible tasks in the front and/or back of the house as assigned.Requisitos• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules. • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy items and stand for long hours. • Willing to work in any shifts and on weekends and holidays. • Must be able to multitask in order to ensure guests get their orders promptly. • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment • Outstanding communication and people skills. • Self-motivated with a high energy level. • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. • Ability to coordinate activities in a timely manner. • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a food runner or similar entry-level role in a restaurant. • High school diploma or equivalent and additional experience, education, training, or certifications is a plus. • Basic math and computer skills.
