Graphic Designer

Job Title: Graphic DesignerJob Description: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that communicate our brand message across various platforms.Key Responsibilities:Maintain brand consistency across all design projects.Ensure all designs are high-quality and meet project specifications.Stay updated with design trends and software advancements.Prioritize each day to schedule the workflow efficiently and cost-effectively. Determine the best output method based on the customers need. Read and interpret a Work Order. Work with co-workers and customers with file transfers, FTP access, photo library options, online proofs, etc.Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copies for print reproduction according to the instructions of the client or supervisor.Allocate the appropriate amount of time to each Work Order.Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure that the correct material is used for each job and that the output device settings are accurate.Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files. Provide proofs as necessary for customer approval. Perform daily/weekly computer back-ups, archive files as necessary. Maintain all equipment including computers, plotters, and printer(s). Maintain accurate electronic record of File Storage and Disks following brand standards. Minimize waste by efficiently using ink, media, laminates, foils, and vinyl; notify the supervisor of low inventory. Communicate with other employees and sales/Service members on job requirements, timing, and special needs; Production team on job input and output; Production Manager/Center Manager on inventory needs for computer supplies.Image Sourcing: locate photos, understand copyright laws and release/usage requirements, knowledge of resources to buy stock images, work with service bureaus to create output beyond store capability, and understand resolution options and optimal enlargement specifications from image vendors and image originals.Requirements:Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).Strong portfolio showcasing design skills.Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Experience in digital and print media design.Job Type: Full-time
