We also provide the benefits listed below.Full-time EmploymentPay: $23-26 per hour based on experienceBenefits:PTO, paid holidaysMedical Insurance with company contributionBeer and GearClothing allowanceOther available insuranceRequired Skills:Prior professional brewery experienceCreativity and positive attitudeAbility to follow and document precise brewery processesAbility to communicate and work effectively in a team setting and individuallyAbility to identify necessary tasks and complete them effectively without supervisionMust understand and adhere to brewing and sanitation processMust understand and adhere to industry standard safety rules and processesMust be able to manage multiple tasks and complete them efficientlyEnthusiasm and strong personal knowledge of the microbrewery industry and marketMust be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs; lift, push, or pull up to 170 lbsResponsibilities:Order, receive, inventory and organize brewing ingredients.Manage and complete all aspects of the brewing process.Manage and assist in cellaring duties including transferring, filtering, carbing and kegging.Create a brewing schedule based on business trends and demand.Develop and implement recipes.Document required testing and brewing information.Organize and document required information for Brewer's Report of Operations filings in addition to any other information requested by ownership.Utilize, clean and organize fittings, hoses, tools and other equipment.Manage crowler, canning and other packaging processes.Manage brewery cleanliness and adhere to strict cleaning protocols.Follow SOPs put forth by Union Trail Brewing.Prepare materials and vessels for production.Complete quality control processes.Work with management to establish any new processes to increase quality and efficiency.Schedule:Some flexibility is required depending on brewing schedule, season, and taproom events, but generally schedules are completed within an eight hour shift.
