Job Overview:Nozomu Sushi is seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus- Manage and utilize our online reservation system- Open Table- Assist guests with any special requests or accommodations- Manage waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries- Checkout all takeout orders using our POS system- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessaryExperience:- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Familiarity with point-of-sale system and Opentable is a plus- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with graceIf you are passionate about providing exceptional guest service, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and enjoy working in the hospitality industry, we invite you to apply for the position of Host/Host.
