Whether you took time off to welcome a child, to care for a family member, to travel the world or pivot your career through returning to school, we want to ease your transition back into the workforce, equipping you with the skills and experience to continue your career and to take it to new heights.
Now is an exciting time to be part of Unanet’s Human Resources Team. During your Returnship you will have an opportunity to work with experienced HR professionals and assist with a variety of initiatives focused on enhancing the end-to-end employee experience, including onboarding, employee engagement, employee development, benefits/wellness, compliance, and people analytics.
Who You Are
Prior professional experience in Human Resources
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technologically savvy
Understand the need for confidentiality as it relates to people data
Inquisitive and eager to learn
Driven by curiosity
You've been out of the workforce for 12 months or more (required!)
Your Winter
Assist with onboarding new employees into Unanet, ensuring all necessary forms and documents are completed and returned
Work collaboratively with our HR team to ensure an outstanding employee experience through the employee journey
File documents into appropriate employee files, including leveraging Unanet's HRIS, Paylocity
Support programs involving employee experience, virtual events, community relations, engagement, and recognition
Assist in coordination of all employment verifications, mandated training, and new hire requests
Assist in managing communications and communication strategy for Unanet HR as well as engagement initiatives
Champion a successful remote-first work culture and demonstrate effective remote collaboration abilities yourself
Complete ad-hoc projects, as assigned

The hourly pay for this opportunity is $20.00 per hour. You will be eligible to participate in Unanet's 401(k) plan.
