Immuno Technician

Under direct supervision, this individual will perform routine Immunohistochemical staining, Immunohistochemical assay implementation, and troubleshooting, as well as the processing, embedding, and sectioning of fixed specimens. Histologic procedures on human tissues include but are not limited to routine histology, IHC procedures, and frozen sectioning for microscopic examination by a pathologist.Qualifications:A bachelors degree in histotechnology, biology, or other related scientific discipline and Histotechnologist HTL(ASCP) or Histotechnician HT(ASCP) certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Certification.Two years of Immunohistochemistry experience required. Qualification in Immunohistochemistry is strongly desired.The position is Full-time/Part-time (negotiable) and a salary commensurate with experience. Ideal working hours are 9:00a-5:30p Monday-Friday. Excellent benefits package offered only with a full-time position.
