EDCOE is hiring Instructional Assistant-Autism aides!Opportunities are available in classrooms throughout El Dorado County!Starting at $20.15 hourly.Apply NOW at https://www.edjoin.org/Home/JobPosting/1943287.Purpose Statement: Under supervision of Director of Special Services or designee, provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD); present instructional material; complete routine clerical duties.This position is distinguished by knowledge of and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), TEACCH, and other methods of instruction commonly used with students who have ASD.Experience: Experience working with children in an educational or other structured setting, preferably with students with disabilities. Successful completion of the EDCOE Instructional Assistant-Autism exam.Education: High school diploma or the equivalent, and two years of college (48 units), or A.A. degree (or higher), or pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. Training in Applied Behavioral Analysis Techniques, TEACCH Techniques, and behavior management strategies.EOE/SP4110
