As Virtuagym continues to grow, we are seeking an Investment Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in securing the financial resources needed to support our expansion and ensuring that our equity management initiatives align with our strategic objectives.
What this role looks like
As an Investment Manager at Virtuagym, you will lead our fundraising efforts, manage investor relations, and oversee our equity management initiatives. Your strategic mindset and financial expertise will be critical in driving our growth. This is a full-time position based in Amsterdam, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilities as Investment Manager
Fundraising Leadership: Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure equity and debt financing, working closely with the CEO’s and VP Finance.Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, ensuring clear and consistent communication about the company’s financial health and strategic direction.Financial Analysis and Valuation: Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuations to support fundraising activities and strategic decision-making.Due Diligence Management: Lead the due diligence process, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to provide accurate and comprehensive information to potential investors.Strategic Investment Decisions: Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.Equity Management: Oversee all equity management activities, including stock option grants, cap table management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks related to fundraising and investment activities.What you will bring to the team
BSc or MSc degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in investment management, corporate development, or a related field, with a strong track record in fundraising, investor relations, and equity management.You have native-level proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, also Dutch is a huge plus;Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.Strong understanding of the SaaS business model and technology sector.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders.Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.Knowledge of equity management practices.Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach, capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
