As the IT Change Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating organizational change initiatives and enable Abarca to take proactive measures to identify and manage changes in our business processes. You will collaborate with other management teams to align the changes with Abarca’s strategy and monitor the process of changes to make necessary adjustments. You will manage a team of Change Management Leads and Coordinators, be the point of contact for tools supporting Change Management practices, and will be accountable for the evolution and continuous improvement of Change Management.
The fundamentals for the job…

Drive and communicate the IT Change Management process across the organization to help the successful delivery of technology.
Apply a structured methodology that includes risk analysis, cross-functional team coordination and planning, communication, documentation, execution, and retrospective conversations of code releases, infrastructure, and other IT related changes.
Support proper performance of the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
Create reports regarding executed changes and the business impact. Organize operational meetings with affected teams and stakeholders.
Develop, measure, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPI); design, generate and present metric reports and dashboards with staff and senior leadership.
Continuously improve the change management practice by analyzing metrics, gathering feedback, and implementing process enhancements.
Collaborate with teams in the evolution of Change and Release Management practices.
Operate, maintain, and oversee the use of various tools used within change management practice, as well as their integration with other tools and modules (e.g., change requests, incidents, CMDB, monitoring, alerting, and reporting).
Execute internal audits related to IT changes and support external audit processes.
Manage and mentor a team of IT Change Leads and Coordinators.
Coordinate and deliver training and work sessions related to IT Change Management.

What we expect of you
The bold requirements…

Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial or Process Engineering or related area (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.)
6+ years of experience with change management and ITIL service management implementation, including experience with change management in distributed systems and environments, and knowledge of software engineering and delivery of code changes as part of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience and understanding of IT infrastructure environments, including the development process and environments for key business area applications. Ability to navigate complex technical environments and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Experience with agile methodologies/frameworks, and agile Release Management – Continuous Integration/ Continuous Development (CI/CD.)
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in strategic planning, program development, and project management, specifically in IT changes and transformation.
Ability to travel up to 15% and work irregular shifts, including weekend and certain holders, per business or operational needs.

This position requires availability to work in a specified time zone or working schedule, accommodating the business needs of our clients and team members.
This position may require availability for on-call hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to promptly address emergent issues or provide necessary support as dictated by operational demands (if applicable).

Nice to have…

ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
Experience in Change Management, Inventory, and Assets Management.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools like DataDog, the use of database monitoring tools, and knowledge of Freshservice tool (Assets Management).
PBM and Healthcare business knowledge and experience.

Physical requirements…

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
