Overview:
Charter is currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (Contract) for projects starting in August, 2024. Ideally you will have 8+ years PM experience planning / monitoring / executing IT projects, within a defined scope, timeline, and budget; collaborating with 3rd party vendors; and working closely with IT Operations/Business Teams in an enterprise level environment. Previous experience with IT network projects i.e., Cisco Voice, Webex Cloud migration etc., would be a strong asset. Attention to detail is a must. Location: remote (PM must reside in Canada for the duration of the project). Excellent written and verbal communication (English) is required. Term: Four (4) months. Strong potential of extension.
Qualifications and Experience:
8+ years of PM experience planning/monitoring/executing IT projects, and delivering projects within a defined scope, timeline, and budget, within an enterprise level environment.Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors to address any project related issues/challenges, to ensure successful project completion.Experience managing IT Network projects i.e., Cisco Voice migration, Webex Cloud migration, firewall/VPN migration, wireless upgrading, etc. would be a strong asset.Experience managing project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies, and escalating critical issues to stakeholders and management.Experience managing relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their engagement and involvement throughout the project lifecycle.Experience organizing and coordinating end-user training sessions would be an asset.Education: active industry certifications in project management would be an asset.

Must be authorized to work in Canada.
