Job descriptionKennel Assistant/Bather/SalesBEN-JEE KENNELS47 Ridge Road PO Box 1Tylersport, PA 18971 ------------We are seeking a Part time Kennel Assistant/Retail Sales/Bather to join our team evenings and weekends! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals and property at our facility.Mature candidate must be able to operate computer/cash register and possess phone skills. Hourly salary increases commensurate with performance.Responsibilities:Handle general care tasks such as feeding and bathing of the animalsAssist in restraining animals for brushing/nail clippingKeep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updatesEngage in play activities and exercise with the animalsMaintain a clean and healthy environment/facility groundsTake reservations for boarding and maintain file records/phone skillsCheck in and Discharge appointmentsLearn operation of the cash registerQualifications:Previous experience desired, but will train the right individual- in animal care or other related fieldsPassion to help and treat animalsAbility to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening mannerAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment** Must be available for our summer schedule and holidays - please do not apply if you cannot be available May - September**** Retail sales and computer/QuickBooks a plus**Work RemotelyNoJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits: Employee discountFlexible schedulePaid time off Day range: HolidaysMonday to FridayWeekends as neededWeekends only Shift: 4 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shift Supplemental pay types: Bonus opportunitiesTips Work setting: In-person Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person
