Althings flagship clinic is located on a college campus in Austin, MN serving students, faculty staff, and the community in addition to providing proactive mental health services in School Districts (grades 6-12) across the state. This is a great career opportunity offering a dynamic work environment with pathways for personal and professional growth.DutiesThe primary responsibility is to provide professional mental health services including assessments, evaluations, crisis interventions, therapy and psychosocial education services on-site at the clinic and virtually.Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessmentsProvide mental health evaluations and creation of safety and treatment plansCrisis interventionsCoordinate care services to ensure holistic support for our clientsDevelop individualized treatment and safety plans using appropriate diagnostic criteriaConfidence in virtual and in-person settingsDocumentation and scheduling in electronic health record (Athena)Participate in all clinical staff meetingsPromote self and practice within the communityOccasional travel to support district health and employee health services on site.SkillsMasters degree in Social WorkTwo years of experience in the field of social workCertified and / or experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBTActive licensure in MinnesotaStrong crisis management skills to handle urgent situations with care and efficiencyAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate with other members of the clinical teamStrong organizational skills and understanding of documentation requirementsAbility to work independentlyAbility to successfully complete background checkExperience in the fields of youth and adult mental health and substance use disordersProactive, motivated individual with a passion for innovative mental health servicesAt Althing, we offer competitive compensation packages, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment that values your contributions.
