Job Title: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/ADC-T/or ADC InternLocation: Cloquet, MNJob Description:The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor will provide individual and group counseling services to clients in the residential treatment program at Pioneer Recovery Center. This position will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating group therapy sessions. The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor will work closely with other members of the treatment team to provide comprehensive and individualized care to clients.Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients' needs Develop individualized treatment plans Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions Provide crisis intervention services as needed Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to provide comprehensive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records Attend team meetings and case conferences Participate in continuing education and professional development activitiesRequirements: Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field Current licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Minnesota Minimum of two years of experience in addiction counseling Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for substance use disorders Experience working with diverse populations Familiarity with electronic health records and database management systemsAlso looking for interns!
