Licensed Veterinary Technician

Recently renovated, fast paced, 8 doctor, small animal practice is looking for a licensed veterinary technician. Two years of experience preferred but all applicants will be considered. Must be a hard working, self-motivated team player with good people skills. Duties include: exam room skills, using state of the art laboratory equipment, digital radiography, induction of surgical patients and anesthesia monitoring, performing dentals and dental radiographs, IV catheter placement, filling prescriptions, care of hospitalized patients, client communication, telephone skills. Full time hours include 10-11 hour days, one weekday per week off and Saturday morning hours with a Saturday off rotation.
