The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with company recipes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong culinary skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:Food Preparation:Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and consistency.Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.Kitchen Operations:Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.Ensure that all cooking equipment and utensils are clean and in good working order.Follow all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen.Menu Planning and Execution:Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.Collaborate with the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to ensure a consistent and high-quality food offering.Quality Control:Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.Inventory and Ordering:Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.Ensure proper storage of all food items and ingredients.Team Collaboration:Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation.Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff as needed.
